Letter from the Local Arrangements Committee
Dear South Georgia Conference Delegate:
Welcome to Columbus! We count it a unique privilege that you have chosen our city as the site of the 2008 South Georgia Annual Conference Meeting. Under the leadership of Ronnie Culpepper, all of us in the Columbus District are looking forward to serving as your hosts.
As you might imagine much planning is underway. Meetings and activities are the order of the day as we prepare for your arrival. We have enclosed several bits of information in this packet that we hope will be helpful. You will find a fact sheet, list of hotels and prices (reservations due by May 17), information on the Day of Service, special Art auction, and St. Luke food service. Give us a call if we can give further assistance in any way. Again, welcome to Columbus!

Lunches offered at St. Luke
St. Luke will be offering lunch on Monday & Tuesday of Annual Conference. If you would like, transportation will be available from the Civic Center to St. Luke and then back to the Civic Center. Choices are as follows:
$7.00 for a hot meal
$5.00 for soup and salad
$5.00 for soup and sandwich
Lunch will be served on Monday from noon until 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (Day of Service). Feel free to join us in the Large Dining Room of our Ministry Center Building located at 301 11th Street.
