Associate Student Pastor - Mt. Bethel UMC
We are currently looking to expand our growing student ministry team. We are searching for an Associate Student Minister who isn't afraid of and who is comfortable leading and directing large numbers of students. The new position will cover a number of ministries according to the persons strengths and abilities. Our church has over 8,000 members and student ministry is growing by leaps and bounds by God's grace!
Some of the strengths we are looking for are:
-A passion to serve God through students
-A desire to see students grow spiritually
-A strong "stage presence" for directing and leading weekly worship/program
-Very organized
-Detail-oriented but able to see the big picture
-A TEAM Player
Would be a plus:
-Website experience
-Worship leading
-Outgoing personality
We are not in a hurry to fill this position. We are patient and know that God will send us who we need. Compensation will be determined by applicant's experience and education. Salary range will be between $25,000-$35,000 plus benefits. This is an entry-level position with the possibility for long-term ministry and advancement.
