UMW Spiritual Growth Retreat – March 23-25
The United Methodist Women of the South Georgia Conference will host their annual Spiritual Growth Retreat March 23-25 at Epworth By The Sea on St. Simons Island. Transition Workshop for Moving Clergy, Dublin – April 17 & 18
Full-time pastors who will move to new appointments in June 2012 are required to participate in one of two full-day transition workshops.  The first is set for Tuesday, April 17 at Dublin First UMC, and the second is set for Wednesday, April 18 at Tifton First UMC.  Both workshops will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last until 3 p.m. The goal of this workshop is to facilitate and expedite the transition so new pastors are up and running as quickly as possible. There is no charge for this event, but each participant will be asked to contribute a small amount towards lunch and they must register in order to receive materials at the seminar and to ensure a lunch will be prepared.  Participants should register with their current District Superintendent.
