Early Response Team Training, Valdosta – January 20-21

Clergy Sexual Ethics Workshop – February 9
A Sexual Ethics Workshop is scheduled for February 9, 2012, at Epworth By The Sea from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  This workshop is required every three years for persons serving under appointment by the Bishop (clergy, local pastors, extension ministers, appointed lay speakers). Please note that spouses and lay employees who are not appointed by the bishop are not eligible to attend the workshop.

Disciple Covenant Conference – February 24-25
The 2012 Disciple Covenant Conference (DCC) is set for February 24–25, 2012, at the Macon Centreplex in Macon. The DCC is an experience where clergy, staff and laity come together to develop and improve personal and congregational covenants based on the timeless values of our faith. Speakers for the two-day event include Tim Stevens, Sister Kathleen Flood, Jim and Jennifer Cowart and Jay Hanson. Robert McMichael and Jarvis Wilson will lead worship for the event.
